Europe 2016

Europe 2016 #

This is a work in progress. I have a ton of photos to go through and organize.

Leaving Town #

Around the spring of 2016 I hatched a plan to escape my responsibilities for a while and travel across Europe by train. I announced my plans to my employer at the time who responded quite well. So, I bought a month long unlimited Rail Pass and booked some flights. I would leave toward the end of July that year and return about 6 weeks later.

I packed a single backpack with a few changes of clothes, my laptop, toothbrush, and that was pretty much it. I wanted to live something like a digital nomad for a while. Between my cell phone (the service for which was covered in Europe by T-Mobile) and my laptop, I figured I would be able to figure it out. Whatever ‘it’ would be.

Leaving town

I must have stayed in 20 cities and traveled at least one or two thousand miles by train, so for the sake of breaking things up, let me try to just break it down by country. I’ll describe each country’s adventures and link to a page with photos to help break it down even further.
